Eucharist

The source and summit of our faith, the Eucharist is the body of Christ, it is what unites us and transforms us into the Church.

The Archdiocese of Seattle requires 2 years of preparation for 1st Communion. We offer preparation for baptized, Catholic, Holy Spirit parish children in grades 1-8. Our program will emphasize and support the parent’s role as the primary catechists of their children. Classes for year 1 & 2 are on Saturdays, October-May.

Sessions for children are in English or Spanish
Parent sessions are offered in English and Spanish.

Registration for 2023-24 was in August.
Be prepared to register.  Bring a copy of the baptismal certificate for every person registering for preparation.  The fees for 1st Communion preparation are 1 child:  $80 per year, 2 children in same family $100 per year, 3 or more children in the same family $120 per year.
Because of limited space in our sessions registrations will be processed in the following order:  1.  Registered and active parishioners. 2.  Active but not registered parishioners.  3.  Anyone not registered in our parish, not active, and/or live outside our parish boundaries (as space allows).
